Tiny update

I haven't had a lot of time to think about the project this first week, I expect I'll get more time at the beginning of May.

Short summary of stuff I've been doing that's somehow related to the project:

• Reading tons of email and sorting out which blogs, mailing lists etc. I need to keep track of.
• Started looking at some of the documentation my mentor suggested I'd read. This has been somewhat hampered by the fact that the Globus webserver (along with most other Globus infrastructure) has been down this past weekend.
• Installed Ubuntu + a bunch of development software at my home-computer. Setting up a dual-boot went pretty smoothly, only issue so far is that it refuses to use the native resolution of my screen.
• Cursing the X-server.
• I expect I'll be reading massive amounts of documentation this spring and summer. I'd also like to see the sun from time to time. Solution? Order a printer!
